I've been reading and rereading Simson Lugers. Incredible amount of information. And as I went to the safe to retrieve mine for the 3rd time, I realized I should just leave it out until I finish the book. Again.

And so as I was observing each piece I discovered that there should be an acceptance mark on my front sight but there is none, The witness mark looks clean but I am no expert (barely novice) so I wanted to see what the opinion is here. It is number 1685a.
