An inexpensive way to get started is to download and install the Luger E-books by Gerard Henrotin... they contain lots of good information and great photos and illustrations.
I would recommend that you get the one on the Luger mechanical features first... The last time I checked, they were about $8 or $9 each. The link to find them is in the Links & Resources page from our home page (lugerforum.com) whose link is at the bottom of this page. The fine Luger animation on our homepage was created by Mr. Henrotin who is also a member of our forum.
