As for Digital Cameras - as I mentioned, I purchased a Fuji (not sure of the model number?) but it takes excellent pictures. The difficulty I think I was having was that in the close ups, the flash would flood the picture and you'd see nothing but bright spots - and really contrasty colors. I tried pictures inside under incandescent lights (I have no flourcesents at home) and using the halogen spots I have in my display cabinet. NONE of these worked!! Either the pictures were too blurry (using no flash) or were wayyyy too bright...
BUT - I think I found the solution...! The picture above was taken indoors using diffused sunlight - a thin white curtain (you know the really sheer ones?) cut the direct sunlight just enough to render this image quality. No flash was used. So, on sunny days, between the hours of 2PM and 4PM - I can take pictures (as long as Jen doesn't change those curtains!!..
Love to know how other folks take them, though...???
