tannhauser88, just as a comparison, I purchased a 1939 Mauser in better condition, all matching except mag. There was no tool or papers, but the holster was in much better condition. I paid $1200 almost a year ago.

The more knowledgeable (than me) members that posted above opine that your subject luger is over priced. I agree. That Mauser is desirable (if the barrel bore is good) but over priced. You are getting wise and useful advice. Keep us posted regarding what happens.
