ESU,

Do a search on ejector replacement, I went through the same thing here in the last few weeks and there is some information there which you need to know before continuing.

My particular problem was a broken ejector, but I have also had one in the condition which you describe, which had no effect whatsoever on the actual function of the gun.

I would say check the previous thread, and then don't replace your ejector unless it really fails.
