The accelerator (auxiliary/helper) spring assembly in the forearm is shown in the last photo of the original post. Even though there is no photo posted of the lug on the underside of the barrel that activates the spring, since the gun is all matching I am sure the lug is present.
The gun is very nice looking and obviously all original. It exhibits overall fine rust spotting (sometimes called "patina" by dealers

). This is not terribly detractive but is indicative of improper storage. I hope it has not been stored in the leather case but I suspect such is the situation. A
light "massage" with 0000 steel wool and oil may improve the appearance somewhat. In addition to the "patina" the gun looks dry. From this day forward the gun should be stored with a light surface lubrication and never stored for extended periods in the leather case.
