BTW: 1938 is my first guess on your Banner Question (great post!!!) - but I'm still trying to find the dates for the Banners without the sear safety..!!!!
Anyway - RK's post, IMNSHO - has a lot of merit, whether collector or not. I guess I take the view of a passionate advocate, rather then a dyed in the wool collector. On that point, I believe RK's post is well pointed and well said.
