Well... just a thought, but if you are open to share the serial no of your Mauser, you have a chance to make your package complete by finding the matching magazine . I think one of the forum moderators maintains a list of "orphaned magazines" which are trying to "find their way home" and reunite with their matching gun. I think a few matches have already happened, although it is a slim chance... that's true. That's why my signature has "looking for magazine no. 7097." Then your collector value goes WAY up Maybe someone else is looking for your magazine no. 6024??
I understand that your purchase included that nice holster? Then you did REALLY well with $800!

I haven't been here long either; I'm just starting out too, and several here have convinced me not to shoot my collectable. Glad to hear you are considering the same. Then you can have some fun looking around for a good shooter. I'm doing that now! I still have never fired a Luger... but I will !!
