Default 1912 Erfurt

A friend turned me on to this pistol about seven years ago. He got it from a Canadian dealer. It's in about 98% condition and attests to the fact that early Erfurts were every bit as nicely finished as were their DWM counterparts. It came to me with one matched magazine, one unnumbered early Erfurt magazine and an excellent matching unit marked holster.

The 93rd Infantry Regiment was the only unit raised in the Duchy of Anhalt. The Regiment was part of the 8th Infantry Division and saw action on the Western Front throughout the war. It was heavily engaged against British forces in 1917 and 1918 whence this pistol probably fell into Canadian hands.
