I do like that lining.

Maybe Jerry Burney would confirm or refute this... I've read that the rough/"split" side of a piece of leather is more abrasion-resistant than is the top grain. Is it true?

And if it is true, wouldn't holsters be gentler on guns by having the "softer" top grain touching the pistols inside?

I'd presume suede leather would be in a slightly different category, and probably softest of all?
