Hi Dick,
Thanks for posting the link to your well researched and informative article. The post war Lugers produced when the Mauser factory was under French control have interested me for some time. I own #380, one of the early guns that didn't wind up in Austria. It's as well made and finished as any of the Lugers, commercial or military, produced by Mauser before the French occupation.
