I have my #14 & #15 catalogs open right now (I've posted the pics here before) and the Numrich handguards don't look anything like the eBay 'handguard'. Numrich's handguard is a long tapering Schnabel-tipped forearm (maybe 14" OAL) with a central band for mounting. The rear end is rounded and stops short of the frame. Front tip stops just behind the front sight band.

When Hugh posted, I thought "Hey! A Numrich forearm would be easy to modify for a custom Luger carbine!". But whatever that eBay wood piece is, it doesn't look like anything anyone would want on their Luger.

But Thanks! for posting, Hugh!
