No, I meant that it was unusual for a Republican
not to be on top of 2nd Amendment help. Of course, any member of any party can have performance that is antithetical to the way one might expect. Sanders--a very liberal Liberal--was laissez-faire about gun control. Vermont has it pretty together on crime and violence without a bunch of strict laws. I'll predict that most of the new laws that appear will be Nanny-state in nature, and as ineffective as they are irrational and intrusive.
