Default Imperial Unit Markings~

I often wondered the logistics behind individual not only unit makings but those assigned to specific guns~George Anderson would provide individual historys and specifics on a single luger. Why were some marked and other left blank. Why were the applied in the first place? There had to be an existing regiment and unit order before application. How many and to what regiments were they applied. Where were the applied? The provide source of history and their actual service! I'm posting the history of one provided me by George Anderson with the purchase of one of the historic gems I have had the honor to own!
