Ditto on what the others said on the pistol, it is reblued and pitted, and you sightly overpaid.
But the holster may be worth $100 to someone, it is likely a German made copy of the US 1911 shoulder holster; many not issue holsters were made for lugers for GI's just post WWII.

They probably or could have come home together as souvenirs; unfortunately the luger did not fare as well as the holster.

Welcome to the board, but be careful- it is tough to own just one!
