Also, anytime you see a square corner on the small leather bits, (i.e. the sewn top of the closure strap, the toe end of the magazine tool pouch), instead of a nicely dressed, rounded edge, your alarm should go off. These are tiny details that most fakers just don't bother with.

Another detail often missed is that the bottom stitching on the forward belt loop continues on and also attaches the pull up strap inside the holster to the holster body.
