I bought a shooter Erfurt luger with this kit installed. Expecting a "normal" military or police accepted and proofed set of barrel, toggle assembly, and magazine.
Imagine my surprise when it arrived, all matching number 7360 but at first I could find no proofs at all.
So I'm thinking "lunch box special" or post war assembly- but no proofing at all had me confused.
Well the second day on closer exam, I found the Eagle/N on the barrel breech, and a very small partial Eagle/N on the middle toggle link. The E/N is just to the left of the ''60" and a light strike, sorry for the fuzzy picture, I'll get a better one and replace it. The E/N is perpendicular to the long axis of the toggle, about all you can see is the faint N and a little hint of the eagle.
The device is of the late type and marked "EE". In reading Goertz and Sturgess, I find reference to a very few of these sub-caliber devices were sold on the German commercial market- as most of the time all production went to the military and police- and Erma was always behind on delivery.
