Default My old mutt Luger

I had already posted up some pics of my new commercial Luger... I had purchased this one a few years back to use as a shooter and just to own a Luger

It's a bit of a mutt with the top toggle coming off of an Erfurt WW1 gun. The lanyard loop had been removed and polished out before it was refinished. There are no import markings although the side cover plate has the common Germany. I've been told it may be an ex police pistol or Vopo rework. The grips are not original. The prior owner said it had black plastic grips (which he unfortunately did not save). It's been reblued (hot blued) but it was done a long time ago and probably when the gun was put together.

It wasn't overly expensive and is a good shooter and attention getter at the range. I don't shoot it often, but it works well.
