You can't believe any stories about 'bringbacks'. I've told stories myself, and condensed/edited them for brevity/clarity. This Luger may have been passed around in exchange for cigarettes, lost/won in a card game, picked up off a pile of confiscated weapons, and brought back by someone totally different. Then that person bought one "just like it" for his own memories. And added it to his war stories as one he captured.

We were all heroes. Why spoil a good story with the truth???
