We hear much about the US Ordinance Flaming Bomb Proof Mark.
I finally Photographed My

" US "
" Springfield "
" Armory "
" Model of 1922 "
" M1. Cal. .22 "

I believe that this indicates that the barrel was manufactured at "Springfield Arsenal" and accepted at "Springfield Armory" in the fifth month or "May of 1925"

Hope this finds a place in the permanent files !
