Ed,
here are the pictures from the 1918/20 Erfurt.

Notice the "Y" on the tab and corresponding "Y' on the frame where the side plate covers it.

Eric,
I see an "S" on your Erfurt side plate, is there an "S" on your frame- you can see it with the side plate removed. The "Y" is a little faint, but just to the rear of the trigger pivot.
