I had planned on it!
For ****s and grins I took apart the old side plate and checked for fitting with the pin and the trigger lever on my 82 marked plate. The lever fits great, the pin is just a shade bigger in diameter than the hole. Should I try another trigger lever pin or let the smith fit this pin to the new plate? Seems odd that the pin is a slightly different diameter. The 82 marked plate fits the frame fine without the internals. Just a tiny bit of rattle and I am guessing that it is because there is no trigger lever inside.
