My 1911A1. Mostly Ithaca but with a Remington frame, was rebuilt in Augusta Arsenal in the 50s and looks like it went through WWII, Korea and Vietnam before it found it's way into my hands.  |
In fact I'm almost sure it's unissued.
Arsenal rebuilds are sought after by many collectors now, they represent a page of the US history.
