Default Question on a Bringback Luger

This pistol was brought back from WWII by a friend's father - it includes a 1921 DWM Luger, all matching, a 1936 holster (in very good shape) with a takedown tool, and two non-matching magazines (one fxo unmarked, the other a wood-bottom that has a cracked bottom. Only a few pics - but the pistol is all matching with holster wear and good finish - strayed parts are 50% (best guess). Most important is the unit marking on the grip - any help on the meaning would be greatly appreciated - and a rough insurance value...the latter will be tough, I know, due to limited pics.
