Default Weimer Police Gun

Hi Guys!

I don't post here much but perhaps you can help me out.

This is what I think may be a Weimer Police Luger from my dad's collection. Dad is elderly and has the onset of Alzheimer's Disease so mom requested I take all of his C&R guns and Antique firearms out of the house, she doesn't like guns.

My brother and I are splitting up his guns and he received a very nice 1938 all matched Luger with a capture paper and I inherited this one.

That aside, what do you guys think about this Luger? I talked to Ed Tinker about it but pictures are worth more than a conversation.

I'd appreciate any information that this forum may give me about this gun since I am not a Luger expert.

Let me know if you have questions. It is obviously an Erfurt frame and parts with a freshly numbered DWM toggle to match.

Mark

P.S. The tag on the gun indicated he paid $50.00 for it "back in the day"
