Thought about this... do we really need 100 or 200... probably no. I just need one more, a special one, System Mauser with s/n under 370. If one day I can get one, I will sell some of my guns to support it financially. No need to be mint, a worn 10-shot gun is OK, but needs to be matching and correct.

Before that happens, I will collect based on "what's available". That's a typical accumulator's behavior, not a collector's behavior, I know. But, cannot do it better. "planned" is not there, what else can be done...

I've got only a few myself, here very few people collect MAUSERs C96 and the ones I met have mainly junk. Like as I said in other occasions for Lugers, and for 1911s many people do not know what they are collecting at all.
