Your holster was manufactured in 1941 by Hans Romer. (code letters bml) The WaA's I have listed for him are:101, 455, 788 and 918. One belt loop has been replaced. For the marks try putting baby powder on the area, tap the holster lightly and carefully remove the excess powder. With luck what remains in the letters will give you your info.
