Ok, just spoke with the seller. Serial number is 13373 and he took it apart and all is matching. Bore is dark, but strong. He rated the finish at 90% due to some holster wear and the front strap turning plum. He assured me that the shineyness was due to oil and flash form the camera. Polished mark under safety is dull, but not blued so correct. Gun is marked Germany under the serial number. He seems pretty firm at $1500 (I offered $1250).
Anyone know where Anahuac, TX is? I am really thinking about buying it, but if I don't I'll let you all know where to get it. <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
