The Mauser made Lugers that Interarms imported are very well made. They are patterned after the Swiss design, and were adapted directly from Swiss plans and tooling. Later versions took on more of the appearance of the P.08 (partially at Sam Cumming's request).
They were so well made that they cost too much to manufacture, and eventually were not a cost effective product for Mauser. They are not valued like original military Lugers, but have their own niche in collecting.
