Thanks for your detailed reply Rick and I agree, I like to see pictures too in posts. The rear sight does not appear to be adjustable for windage. There is an indexing line on the bottom of the barrel and frame that aren't quite lined up. That leads me to believe that either this barrel or one previously was on this frame. As you say, If I could file a bit off the barrel shoulder, the barrel could twist that 1mm more and I'd be in business.

Would you guys trust this job to a competent regular gunsmith as opposed to one that is a Luger specialist and has the appropriate tools?

Thanks for the recommendation Lugerdoc, I may try to contact them if I cannot find someone local.
