The reason I ask the last question, I have a couple of other Lugers....Also I have a friend with a couple, like to date them also.... His Dad jumped on D Day with the 82nd and made it clear through to Germany....He had them, but like a lot of others did nothing with them....

Each luger is different, so markings on the right or left, dates on top of receiver, etc.

See the 'how to ID' in the New Collector area and then you can name off each luger and its markings
