Is it really that bad???
If the pin has drifted into the magazine well, which would show that outer circle, then I think it would be a poor job...The outer end of the pin is on a curved surface, hard to match without time-consuming work...For 1942, with the P38 replacing the Luger, is it really all that unusual???
