You will be missing all the fun. Buy from member possibly a safe shooter because if you wait until restored you may be looking at months and costs of a full restoration or rework not to mention the unforseens! The outcome may not be worth the bucks or expidations. You will never get back anywhere near the time and prolonged costs and wait. Take some time to deside. I understand your first always holds a sentimal attachment. You will spend much less in time, costs and anxiety by putting efforts to a nice mismatched safe gun now that you can go the the range and impress the on lookers! Eric
