I measured my travel-mug last week; it also holds 16oz. I use two scoops [that 29.6cc scoop I inherited from somewhere] with 16oz of tap water. Then add sugar, creamer, honey.
Lately I've been mixing 1 scoop LaVazza with one scoop Maxwell House Regular. Comes out pretty good. After adding the other condiments, of course.
(Yes, I did notice your new mug.) 
Edit: Oh, OK...29.6cc is 1.000895oz...
