This P.08 is definitely military issue, as it is numbered in the military style and not the commercial manner. You purchased it for an incrediblly low price...what a
bargain by our standards. The places where the blue has been removed definitely looks like dripping blood damage to me. I once owned a byf 41 Mauser with much the same problem across the top of the chamber and toggle.
