so, this is an actual auction write up (I know there are worse but this one got me )

1937 S42 Luger.** Serial # 1293 Luger retains virtually all of the reapplied blue finish. It has all visible matching numbers. Waffenamt on bottom of barrel. Bottom of magazine is stamped "S42". Chambered for the 9mm cartridge with a 4" barrel. Very good original grips. CAI Import stamp on bottom of barrel. Perfect bore. Fine action.


Great, wonderful that it has this much of reapplied finish
