You are correct about the WW1 vs. WW2 question, but we commonly see WW1 guns with markings taking them up thru the Weimar days and into WW2. That's why we all wish they could talk, because some have seen a lot of history. Your 1920 property marking propelled it into the Weimar days.
The police safety sear is a device added to most Police Lugers, and I'm not seeing it on your gun.
