The quick & dirty answer is yes...But...

I have found that some 'cannon' assemblies are a really tight fit on a mismatched frame. I tried to fit a friend's .22 'cannon' assembly on a frame that it was not matched for...It bound...

I had a donor frame come in last week, a ~1937 Mauser frame, that I was putting a 1917 receiver/barrel extension & toggle train on; it had too tight a fit in the frame ear area (possibly bent or dropped). Only ~.010" but it was still a bear to rack. I lapped the receiver/barrel extension in with valve grinding compound, rubbing compound, and finally polishing compound to get it to slide smooth and easy. Took a lot of time. Had to do the same thing today with an artillery stock attaching iron.

So the parts are the same, and they will interchange...
