Jerry - here is how you fix it - 1936 Luger grips should be unnumbered!

If you find another set of grips without numbers, they can be changed out so you can sell this gun for a decent price. Grips come up for sale on ebay and gunbroker all the time.
You can also buy some screws for it - they shouldn't cost much - ask Lugerdoc (Tom Heller) if he has any.

noworky - Are you sure about the 75% - I don't see it in the two pictures you posted, but I know that only shows part of the gun. If you could post pictures of both sides, the top, the underside (especially the barrel serial num), and the front & back of the grip straps, you will get a more accurate estimate of the finish and value.
