It's interesting that Sturgess & Gortz comment on a Dutch 'cartridge counter' Luger using a modified right grip which allowed observation of the loading button of an un-altered magazine. Sadly, no pics.
Looks like it would be easy to do. Wood only. Might be kinda fragile though...Hmmmm...
