The logical explanation is that the firing pin # 84 was fitted to the # 59 breech block and subsequntly marked with firing pin number to know that the firing pin is no longer a mismatch.
Not all firing pins are a drop in in the breech block and some fitting may be required to avoid future problems (learnt this the hard way).
