Your serial number 1273 looks good on the surface except for a minor discrepancy.
Of the exterior small parts serial numbers that are visible in the photographs, all are marked correctly with the 73 except for the extractor. There the number appears to be 37, i.e. the numbers are reversed. This could simply be a marking error as I am sure the Mauser employees were not fluent in Farsi, or less likely the extractor was swapped out at some time in its life.
It would be good to have photographs of the front of the frame and the bottom of the barrel. The interior small parts should also be examined for correct serialization as well as the magazine which should have the Persian inspection mark as well as the full serial number.
BTW, the delivery to the Persians consisted of the P.08, the lP.08, and 50 cutaway models. They looked like the photograph attached. Excuse the poor quality.
