Out of curiosity, where are you located? There are a few Lugers available locally (Pinto's in Renton, WA has two at the moment) and I've dealt with them many times for firearms transfers. Don't know if anyone will 'appraise' in that sense though.

Unless you happen, perhaps, to leave near one of our W. Washingtonian collectors who can come over and take a look for you...

Which variations are you interested in (by the way)?
