Closest Best Westerns are not that close - some in Philly area. But, same type of place, Days Inn, etc for $60 and up in Pottstown (6 miles or so from me), Quakertown, north, but even farther from Eugene, etc. Lansdale has hotel right off of 476
My son will make comments like, oh, I will sleep in my car. Sorry, I simply will pay the dollars and stay in a hotel
Anyway, I would be willing to host a meeting in the afternoon and evening on a Saturday, whether folks stay close to Eugene or closer to me
I have a large covered porch out front and a nice one out back, and either plenty of parking at my house or we have a walking trail out front - if folks are interested, I would personally give them my address...
of course, we would have to find out if Eugene is willing - if no or uncomfortable in such a short amount of time, we can still have a summer get together, heck, I do project management for a living, not that hard to help others make plans and I can guarantee a nice Saturday as a minimum.
