Probably your best bet Tim is to read over this site. Look to your left and read the general info and it will explain many of your questions, but...

Millions were made before WW2, for WW1 and police use


7.65 or 30 Luger (is the same thing) and the most common WW1 and WW2 caliber size is 9 MM


You never know where you will find a Luger, which is the correct spelling, although you will see it spelled several different ways.
