re "perhaps it was the Jones ( not Datig ) book revision that had the color prints added - will check and update later" my comment in prior post above - I found my copy of Luger Variations and it is the one which had a few color full single page pictures
this issue with the color pictures added and perhaps some error corrections only, was the
4th printing in March 1975
