My dad served in the Navy and was also a hard hat diver and demolitions. Dad also serving on the USN Thorn among others during WW2 in the pacific~ Later he was a consultant on Sea Hunt with Loyd Bridges and appeared as a double. He organized reunions for Navy shipmates. He died of lung cancer in 1985~ He was a compulsive smoker up to his death~
