I have the 1959 'Southern Press' edition of this book. Interestingly, the frontispiece labels it 'Volume One'.
Mine has literally dozens of hand-printed notes on the pages/pics, most saying
"Have" with a serial number. I'm guessing it belonged to a serious Luger collector, as the value of the noted Lugers would be tens of thousands of dollars...
What is interesting about the handwritten notes is that they are in pen & ink, not ballpoint pen. I haven't seen anyone write with pen & ink since the early/mid fifties...
No name in it, just a couple numbers inside the front cover...
