I have been trying various handloads for functioning and accuracy. My groups have been improving, partially due to learning to shoot these Lugers. Anyway, I have been hanging onto my targets and measuring group size and then storing them in my handloads binder in case I want to refer back to them.
Then, I found this cool freeware program:

There is a new V2.10 version which is pretty reasonable ($11.99), and a freeware version V1.1 which is the one I have been playing with.
It is suprisingly simple to use. There is a demo on the site, but basically you just scan your target and load it into the program, plug in bullet diameter and mark the hole centers. It calculates group size, width, height, etc. and then maybe best of all, you can click the text box and it records all these meaurements onto the image and you can save the whole thing (with measurements) as an electronic image. Nicely done program I think! Just thought I would mention it as it saves me filling my binder with these targets, just save the images with measurements in case I want to see them again. Pretty sweet.
