I'll have to dig out my DVD and watch it again. Since they re-numbered them, I've lost track of which was the 'original' Star Wars...And some of mine were copied from cable so they were edited & formatted blah blah...

I might not have the whole collection...How many were there???

I think the short answer is if they were from the same year the slide/barrel extensions are interchangeable...I have one with a non-matching cannon assembly which works OK but the safety is very tight...It works, just needs some muscle...I should lap it in but I'm lazy...

An early slide definitely won't interchange...See pics below...Besides the obvious differences, the newer C96 bolt won't go past the magazine well in the older extension...The rail cuts don't extend forward far enough...
